Disorganized Playlist??

Why won't my iphone keep my tracks in my playlist organized in the same order that they are organized in on my computer? I want to have some of my playlists, such as the "Starred' or "Local files", to be in order based on Artist. I set the playlists up this way on my computer but my phone won't do it. I know you can edit the playlist from the phone but that would take a long time to do it manually.

Since the iOS application doesn't support sorting in the way you suggested the only thing I can think to do is copy and paste the tracks you want in the correct order into a new playlist using the desktop client, that new playlist's order will then be saved and reflected on your mobile device.
