Don't get push notifications when a playlist have updates: what's wrong?

My Question or Issue

 I enable the push notifications on the Spotify app (slider on green, if this is ok?) and on my iphone itself to receive push notifications when playlists have an update. I check today and there was an update but never received a push notification. So what's wrong?

This feature has been removed from Spotify for some time now.

You can check this post here and maybe start a new idea about having them back.

Ok, that's a pitty. Does the email function work with new updates of playlists?

The email notifications work only with new song or album releases from artists you already follow, they are not delievered frequently either.
