Downloaded Music keeps deleting (8.2.0)

Downloaded Music keeps deleting (8.2.0)

Hello. Having an issue with  the current build of Spotify (Version 8.2.0) where it keeps deleting the music i have downloaded onto my device. It's happened 4 times over the last week or so in which I have to go back into the app and physically tap all the music that I want available (rather then it happen automatically). A painstaking process as you can imagine. I have re-installed the app during this time and it keeps happening.

 

Is there anyone else having this issue or can elabaroate as to a fix?

Hey @Deanoaka

 

How many devices have you downloaded music on?

 

Right now Spotify only allows you to download music to the Spotify app on 3 devices. You can be logged into Spotify on as many devices as you want (only 1 device can be playing at a time) but only 3 of those devices can have downloaded music for offline listening.

 

If you download on more than 3 devices it will be deleted from one device.

 

I suggest logging into this page here to see which devices you currently have downloaded music on. If you reinstalled the app on one of your devices without first removing it from this page first, it could also delete the music from one of your deices becasue it will show up as a duplicate and exceed the 3 devices limit.

Yeah I only have 1 device listed on that page. I only use Spotify on my phone.
