Downloaded music not playing offline

Downloaded music not playing offline

Evening all,

I have a premium account that when I lose internet connection does not let me play my content that has been previously downloaded.

I just receive a message 'You're offline, To Play this, you'll need to go online first'

This is especially annoying on flights and in bad signal areas.

I hve a 64gb Iphone 6 with lods of space left on memory.

Any ideas how to solve this?

Cheers,

Pierce

I've had the same problem for a month or so. After searching the only thing I could find was your comment. But after a little more research I finally fixed it by following these directions (that I took a screenshot of, but now I don’t remember where or how I found it):

Sync song to this iPhone

  1. Connect this iPhone to the same WiFi as the computer. <--**we have 2 routers for our home WiFi (one is named “1” the other is “2”). It looks like my iPhone has been on the opposite one that my computer is on…THIS finally fixed everything. (whatever…)
  2. Launch Spotify on the computer where this song is stored.
  3. Mark the playlist containing this song for Offline Sync on your computer or on this iPhone.
  4. Watch as your song magically appears on your iPhone.

Good luck!!
