My Question or Issue

I have read other threads with the same problem but nothing is helping. I have restarted my phone and computer, uninstalled spotify on both devices and reinstalled, and restarted my router but the problem is still occuring. My computer is only able to get connected through an ethernet cable and my phone is connected to wifi provided from the same router. I used to be able to download songs perfectly fine until about 4 months ago but I have not changed my isp or router. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hope you're doing great!

 

I'd recommend installing the latest updates for all your devices and Spotify, where the latest iOS version is iOS 12 and for Spotify is version 8.4.72

 

Since your PC doesn't have a Wifi card, could you trying using the iPhone's hotspot?

Yes it does share the internet in your PC, provided that you have iTunes installed the iPhone is connected over USB to your PC and just disconnect the ethernet cable to see if that help.
