Downloaded songs skipping in playlist

I am a premium user and recently noticed on my downloaded playlists Spotify will skip downloaded songs.  I know this is happening because you will see the song or album artwork for a brief second before going to next song.   If you view the playlist and pick the song it was skipping, it will play fine.  

Anyone else experiencing this?

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

Reinstalled the app and tons of songs I originally had downloaded are now gone on certain playlists. Still skips over songs. I’m using iPhone 8.

Could you try to upgrade to the latest iOS version, iOS 12.0.1, always if you haven't.

Have you tried it with another network connection?

Still and issue 2024, on my phone, computer, and iPad. Can get about 15 plays before the app refuses to play the song in sequence. Only my most played songs go!
