Hey @Hehasballs,

Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

At this point, would you mind trying a clean reinstall? It'll provide you with a brand-new as well as the most up-to-date version of the app.

Suggesting it since, if there's any cache-related issues affecting the playback of downloaded music, such procedure should help solve them. As a heads-up, you'll need to re-download any downloaded music and podcasts after reinstalling the app.

We'll be looking forward to your updates. Let us know if there's anything else we can help with in the meantime!

Hey @Hehasballs,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community and welcome.

Just to confirm, it'd be great if you'd double-check that the Offline Mode is activated on your phone if the songs you mean to play without using data are already downloaded for Offline listening.

To activate the Offline Mode on your iPhone, you can always follow these steps:

  1. Tap Home
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Tap Playback
  4. Switch Offline on

Let us know how you get on. We'll look out for your reply!

The same template answers again. Welcome to the club.... Been having the same issue with a couple of offline songs myself for weeks now and all i get is a template answer even when I say they don't work.

I can confirm that the offline mode is on. Currently playing songs will then automatically stop playing when I turn it on. Same for when I turn of any internet connection on my phone

Hey @shinnokina,

Since what you're experiencing affects only a couple of downloaded songs and seems like a slightly similar but ultimately different scenario, would you mind going to the Help section and starting a new topic about it?

It'd be great if you'd include the Spotify links to the songs related to what you're reporting as well as all the info you think might be useful. This will help us look into it in greater detail and suggest the most appropriate troubleshooting steps.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Wishing you a nice day!

Hi, there is already a topic about this for weeks now, and also another person opened a topic about the same issue a while ago, he also didn't receive any help after saying that the suggested solutions don't work. Apparently my topic was merged to another similar one. it's located here, link below. I tried all the suggested solutions in the pinned help thread, including clean reinstall of both the phone and the desktop app. The issue is with songs in my own offline library (mp3). And this has been on for months now. https://community.spotify.com/t5/Android/Spotify-skipping-not-playing-random-local-files/m-p/4877852...

yeah, nothing happens there, either..

Bro this doesn't work. Idk what is going on. My galaxy won't play anything. It shows me clicking the song and it just won't play. Deleted and reinstall multiple times. Did the same with just the music and nothing works. Cleared cache and data multiple times and that doesn't work. I don't understand why yalls app doesn't work

Hi there @Ronniiiee,

Thanks for reaching out.

Since the OP is quite old, can you clarify what your issue is exactly?

Do songs not play at all when you have Offline mode switched on? Do your downloaded playlists load at all or do you just see the loading sign?

Keep us posted. We'll do our best to help.
