Downloading Songs

HELP ME PLEASE!!!! I have spotify premium and I would like to listen to music offline but when I go to download some playlists it just says waiting to download and it never downloads I’m getting very frustrated please help.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstallation of the app. Just follow the steps here.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I’ve tried all that I don’t know what else to do but my spotify version is 8.4.61.719

Songs can only download while you have the application open, so make sure you are keeping it open after you select the "Download" option. Next, navigate to the "Your Library" tab to see the download progress - is anything happening?
