Drake spam all over premium iOS app even though I block him

My Question or Issue

I block Drake because I dislike his music. He has been blocked on my account for years. I am still getting top-of-app ads for his music even though I have never listened to him and I block him. I am a premium subscriber, but these annoying ads have me reconsidering. Please stop the Drake spam, it’s insufferable. Tried to include images but standard iPhone .jpeg files aren't supported by this site.

Hey @jacktipper,

 

Sorry to see you've been having struggling with this!
I believe you can get rid of those recommendations by disabling the corresponding push notification.
To do this, head over to your Notifications panel and uncheck any options you'd like to opt out from 🙂

That doesn't help with the issue I'm addressing. I do not have any notifications on for Spotify at all. I am talking about the big banner ads on the main page of the premium iOS app. There isn't even an X to get rid of them. I block this specific guy, but still can't escape these intrusive ads even though I'm paying for premium.

In this case, we recommend that you secure your account by following the steps below:

 

  1. Log in to your account page and scroll all the way to the bottom.
  2. Select SIGN OUT EVERYWHERE.
  3. Request a password reset by visiting this article.

It's also worth checking the apps that are linked to your Spotify account on your account page under Apps and remove any you don't recognize. You can find out more tips on how to protect your account here.

 

If the issue persists, we suggest that you reach out directly to our Support team through any of these channels so they can take a closer look and further assist you with this.
