EQ works and can’t be turned off on Airplay

Solved!

EQ works and can’t be turned off on Airplay

Plan

Premium

Country

US, Russia

Device

(Suspected any combination of an iOS device and an Apple TV, regardless the OS versions)

Steps to reproduce:

1) In the Spotify app switch on any EQ preset or make a manual EQ setting

2) Start an Airplay stream to an Apple TV

Expected behavior A:

The EQ is auto-disabled

Expected behavior B:

The EQ can be disabled or tuned manually

Actual behavior:

The EQ is applied to the audio stream but cannot be modified or disabled manually, the EQ UI is frozen.

So a user has to disconnect from the Apple TV, disable the EQ and start the Airplay stream to an Apple TV once again.

Please fix this, the issue is so frustrating every time 😞

Regards,

Pavel
