Error 30 and 101

Error 30 and 101

I have just gotten a new phone and I am getting both error codes 30 and 101. It will switch back and forth. I am not using a VPN and have tried re-installing the app multiple times. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you ever get a resolution to this? I just got a new phone and restored from backup, and now I’m having the same issues..

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community.

 

We'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app. Please follow the steps from this Spotify Guide exactly, as this will assure that all app data is cleared completely, before reinstalling. Sometimes when you do a backup or sync to a new phone the app can get broken.

 

Error 101 is usually a network related error, so you might want to try using a different network connection. We've received reports that this error comes up when connected to a school/ work network with limited network traffic. Also make sure that you don't have any VPN enabled.
