Error message "There is no data media into the drive F" (translated from German)

Solved!

Error message "There is no data media into the drive F" (translated from German)

Hi everybody

Maybe, somebody can help me..

As of late I get every time a message something like "There is no data media into the drive F" (german) when I'm opening the Spotify-Desktop App. What I have to do?

Thanks and best regards

Deanz

Hi

I changed resp. disabled all points under "settings then "local files" for iTunes, Downloads and Windows Media Player. Now the error message has disappeared.

Hey @Deanz,

Thanks for reaching out!

This is strange. First things first, could you try a quick reinstall for us?

If that doesn't help, could you give us a little more info about your device and OS? Also, do you get this error message when trying to open any other program?

Cheers,

Lee

Hello Lee

Thanks for your answer.

I already un- and reinstalled the App, but unfortunately still the same!

I have Windows 10, 64Bit, the newest Spotify App-Version and I get this problem just with Spotify, when I open the App!

Thanks for your help,

Deanz

Thanks for giving that a go @Deanz!

Could you give these steps a quick try for us: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Abuse-Reports/ABUSE-By-Mentron-Idea-Exchange-ideas-no-77816/td-p/18...

Let us know how that goes.

Cheers,

Lee

Hi Lee

It looks, that I don't have the rights for this link (see printscreen)!
