Every time I lock my iPhone 6s my Spotify starts glitching and playing like a broken record.

For some weird reason no matter what I do I can not get my phone to keep playing the music when I lock it. It starts playing like a broken record and starts making glitching static noises until it eventually just stops playing music. Spotify itself still thinks that the music is playing and a song went on for an hour at one point. Any help would be greatly appreciated, this has been going on for 5 days now.

That sounds like a frustrating and abnormal function.

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app?

If this does not solution it maybe you could try restoring your iphone to a backup.

Also, is this isolated to Spotify or can you test it with Apple music?

Would also be great if you've got the following details to help understand the issue.

- iOS Version Installed on the Phone (Current version is 11.1)

- Is the app up to date

- Are you using earphones, If so Wired or bluetooth

- As mentioned above, is it isolated to the Spotify App

- Have you tried a soft reset on your iPhone (Hold both the home and power buttons until you see the apple logo)
