Hey @Lrdavies
I think I know what might be causing your problems. First of all, your playlists may be set to secretive. On iOS you can check this by clicking the three dots at the top as if you were going to edit the playlist, then making sure that is says "make secret." If it says "make public" , click it and it should revert back. If that doesn't solve your issue, please let me know, and I would be glad to help out.

I already did a long time ago! My friends/random people see my followed-playlists, but not the one I made myself...

It was already turned on. In the past the playlists were able to be found...

Hey @Lrdavies,

Sorry for the late response.

Although all Spotify's songs and albums are indexed, playlists are not.

I guess it's due to the crazy number of playlists and with so many playlists created each day it would take massive resources to index all of them and show them in search. And since a lot of playlists could have similar names, you might find a few thousands playlists with the same name and you would be scrolling for hours. That experience would be a pain, so maybe that's why the search behaves the way it does and will index popular playlists.

The current recommended method is to go to a playlist and copy the HTTP link in the options so that you can send the link to someone and when they open the link your playlist will open up in Spotify.

Spotify also indexes user profiles, so if you have made the playlist public so that it appears on your profile, they could search for your profile and find it there. You can also copy the HTTP link for your profile for sharing. (just like playlists)

Hopefully this is more helpful 🙂

Thanks for your time and the reply!

It's strange because when people look me up on Spotify, and look for my public playlists, they can see the playlists that I like, but not the ones I made myself!

Cheers!
