Frozen app

Hello, the app on my iPhone says waiting. I can't delete it or open it. It looks like it did an update today, April 11th

Hey @phk_xb

 

This sounds like a problem with iOS, and not with Spotify.

 

Try this:

 

Signing out of iTunes on your device should terminate the stuck download.


To be sure, after you've signed out, simply reboot your device before signing back in.

  1. Launch the Settings app on your device.
  2. Tap on iTunes & App Store (you'll need to scroll down a ways)
  3. Tap on your current Apple ID at the top.
  4. Tap on Sign Out in the popup menu that appears.
  5. Reboot
  6. After your iPhone has restarted, Sign in to iTunes/App Store again

Then after that check to see if you can update the Spotify app in the app store.

This did not work, before I tried this another app updated no problem. I will contact apple about this.

I'm having the same problem.  Have you had any success with Apple?

I did do a chat with them, while they were looking into it the app deleted itself and I was able the re load it.
