You can do this by going to your playlist, then press the triple dots in the top right corner to open a menu. Then tap Edit.
Now you can change the order of the songs by simply dragging them up or down.

So, you're already using the crossfade feature which starts a song a few seconds before the next song starts?
Do you have your playlist saved for offline use, or do you stream the songs?
If you're streaming the songs, I would suggest you to download them for offline use. It might be that you're having slow speed via WiFi/3G/4G, and that might be the cause of the 'gap' between songs.

i want to have gaps between the songs. How can i get this?
