Google nest Mini not showing up remotely in Spotify but amazon echodot does

I have a google nest mini speaker and Amazon echo dot speaker at home. Both are linked to my Spotify account and shows up in Spotify when I’m at home. But If I’m in the office, I can see my Amazon echo dot as one of the devices in my Spotify and I can play music which will activate the echodot at home But the google nest mini doesn’t show up.

If this is an issue on a work computer, are you maybe using VPN services when you're working or do you know if you have any additional network restrictions?
It's highly possible that those are interfering with the devices displayed in Connect.

In case this is a mobile-only issue - could you let us know what network you're using while at work? The network restrictions may still be applying if you're using work wi-fi.
We'll be on the lookout for your response!

P.S. Echo Dot always shows up for me but for Google Home I need to be on the same network. This may very well simply be expected behaviour 🙂

hi, thank you for the reply. Ok, so google nest mini  really doesn’t show up in Spotify when in another network or on mobile. 

hopefully this gets fixed with a firmware update.
