Group Session option disappears when connecting to CarPlay

My Question or Issue

Hi, my friends and I used to connect to a Group Session all the time when we were connected to CarPlay. Lately for some reason the option to connect to a group session disappears as soon as we plug in a phone to CarPlay. We tried this with multiple cars and with multiple phones. Is anyone else having this issue? Why would they remove this feature?

As you've mentioned that you & your friends have tested and reproduced this behaviour with different phones and vehicles, could you and your friends provide us with the following details as replies under this post?

• Your mobile devices & their OS versions
• Your Spotify app versions
• The vehicles you've tested this with (make, model & year)
