Have premium but won't acknowledge on iPhone

Have premium but won't acknowledge on iPhone

So I have been using spotify on my phone with no issues for some time but today it won't let me use premium features I was using on my laptop in earlier today.

I have logged in and out a few times as well.

Is your account showing as premium on your online overview?

It's says I have unlimited which is what I have, was confused on its name but I am still getting ads and am unable to use features I used to be able to.

Spotify Unlimited will only give you benefits on the desktop and web player. If you want ad-free listening on mobiles and tablets you need Spotify Premium.

So how come I haven't had ads on my phone for over a month? Is this a new change that it's not in phones as well?

Nope, Unlimited should have always given you advertising on your mobile devices and tablets. Not sure why you haven't had them before. Is it possible you had a Premium trial or something?

I didn't think so but must have if I wasn't getting ads. Thats annoying though. Will have to get premium.

Hi @Annakibble!

 

Just to confirm, you had a Premium 30-day trial originally then switched over to an Unlimited subscription. That's why you weren't receiving ads to start with.
