Have to shut off/turn back on WiFi to stream?

Since the iOS 10 update I've been having this issue where when I open the app at home on WiFi, it will say I'm offline until I shut off WiFi, and have it connect via LTE. When I reactivate WiFi after it's already connected, it works flawlessly. This isn't a big issue, it's just annoying to have to cycle WiFi every time I open the app. Is this a common bug people are experiencing? Hopefully it'll be corrected soon. 

Note: there is nothing wrong with my WiFi network
