Haven’t received push notifications (iOS) for years

Hey there!

I’m a longtime Spotify user (account was created before USA launch during the Coca-Cola codes beta testing) and I haven’t received a push notification in the last 2 years, perhaps longer.  I have these enabled on an iPhone 6s Plus running iOS 11.2.1.  

Steps taken:

Toggling settings on ios spotify app control panel

Toggling through web interface

Toggling through iPhone settings control panel

Reinstalling application

Reading through this forum for solutions

I used an android phone for a few years prior to this iPhone.  I may have received notifications during that time period, but I can’t seem to recall. Could this issue have to do with my account age or the lack of Facebook integration throughout the time period where spotify requires this?
