My Question or Issue

Hi.

I have this issue for some time now. Almost everytime my phone connect to my car via bluetooth spotify starts playing. Even if I'm listening to radio, CD or USB. Sometime it doesn't start. I can't figure it out if it starts when I'm calling someone via voice command or when I'm calling from my phone directly. For sure it starts when I start Waze. Even if spotify is closed from background. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app but no joy. It is really annoying, not to mention that is killing my phone battery and data plan.

Hey there @siliconsoul!

Thanks for reaching out to us.

This issue might be caused by quite a few factors and we recommend that you take a look at this thread to see what you can try to solve this.

As a workaround you can try setting Spotify to offline mode and that should help with the autoconnection.

Hope this info helps. We'll be here if you have any more questions.

I just removed waze access to spotify. I hope this combined with completely closing out spotify will help.
