How do I get my Spotify music onto my new Iphone 6 plus?

I backed up everything to the cloud.  My spotify music did not download.  The spotify app on my new phone tells me I need a paid subscription.  I already have a paid subscription. I connected to itunes and nothing happened.  Can anyone tell me step by step how to resolve this situation?

Hey @jaclyn12 /Jackie and welcome to the community 🙂

The music you've downloaded isn't backed up (as far as I know) and doesn't have to do anything with iTunes. What you need to do: download the app, log-in with the right credentials (of your premium account) and select the playlists you want for offline use again. The download will start automatically within the app (it will not download to your apple "music" app!!). 

Tell me if you still have problems and exactly with which part.
