How to delete multiple songs within playlist

Hi does anyone know how to delete multiple songs within a playlist on OS or Mac??  I have reached the limit in songs I can play offliine and would like to delete some of the songs that are on my playlist.  For example the last 100 songs.  I dont want to indiviually sit here and delete them one by one.

Thanks

Hi! I found an easier way to delete the songs if you're on a windows computer. Hold down the shift button on the song you want to delete (it should turn a gray color).  If you select a mulitiple of songs right click on one of the songsand there should be a small box the pops up. At the bottom there should be the words "remove from playlist". Click on the "remove from playlist button" and they have been successfully removed. I've encluded pictures down below if you're not understanding. I hope this helps!

On ios i think the only way is to edit the playlist by clicking on the three dots. I dont own a mac, but on windows you can hold control and select the songs you want to delete. Or select a song, go to the last song you want to delete, hold shift and click on the song.

Thanks. I know clicking on the 3 dots only allows the user to edit 1 song at a time I believe.

Hello! What I found is going onto your playlist, tapping on one song so it turns a gray color, then holding down command and shift, then tapping another song at the end of the list of songs you want to delete. If you do this correctly, all of the other songs in between the 2 on the outsides should also turn a gray color, or be "selected". From here, simply hit the delete button to remove these songs from your playlist. Hope this helps!

I don't see a delete button on my app on Macbook Pro but if you follow the above advice and select multiple songs, there is a Delete item in the Edit menu which wipes out everything selected when you go there. I'm talkig about a Mac computer here, just to be clear, not a phone or iPad.

This doesnt work in spotify web player

It does work i just tried it but on my android it's a whole different story does not do what you can do on ur Computer Only works one by one far tooo long in my opinion

I got it!

1. Select all the songs you want to delete.

(Hold down the command button while selecting to select multiples songs)

2. Bring your cursor to the Mac menu bar at the very top of the screen "File, Edit, View etc." Select Edit and then click Delete.

On your desktop running the spotify app, select a song, then hold down shift to select a block, then just hit the delete button on your keyboard.

With Android App you can delete multiple songs by tapping them at the same time with many fingers:P  It may not be perfect, but I'd rather remove 3-5 songs at once, than remove them one by one.

I FOUND THE METHOD FOR MAC BOOKS. ( well hopefully for all macbooks, I personally have a mac book pro 2017).

1st: just press COMMAND and click on all the songs you want deleted in your playlist.

2nd: after songs you want to delete are gray/grey let go of the COMMAND button, and just press OPTION first (don't let go)  and then DELETE.

3rd:  WHOOSH your songs have been deleted.

4TH: YOU ARE WELCOME 😃
