How to recover storage space on iPhone

I have read several posts where people ask how to recover the space used by Spotify on their cell phones but I haven't heard a solution. I have the same problem and have used 2GB of storage and would like to recover that space. I appreciate any assistance, thank you

Spotify keeps a cache on your device so it doesn't have to download everything over again. You can remove this cache on iOS by reinstalling the app. Let me know how it goes.

Thank you very much for your response. Is reinstalling the application the only solution to the problem? It seem so drastic! If you reinstall the application, what happens to your playlists and radio station you created?
