Currently, my post about Your Music not being available on the Ipad (which I created in April after feature first came out) is the top kudoed post in this board. I am also the most kudoed author here because of this complaint.
In all the months since this uproar started @mattsuda, the board's "Rock Star" paid shill, has said over and over again that the engineers know we wanted this basic piece of functionality that is already on the iphone and other major platforms, and that it would be with us soon. Maybe a month or so, he said in April. Then in late summer he said that he'd seen this functionality and it should be done soon.
And now here we are in OCTOBER without this functionality, without a reason given and with the same claptrap coming from the Spotify customer service team that it would be soon and that's all they can say. Now, I am done. I cancelled my premium subscription to Spotify and am going back to Rdio. They have the feature set I want and have always been honest with me in the past. It was my mistake to come back to Spotify early this year and my mistake to stay with it this long. Those mistakes have now been corrected. I am no longer paying this lying company.
I hope others will follow me. You'll find the Rdio apps to be full featured (including album access on the ipad) and actually better than Spotify (ipad and iphone apps are also native remotes for the player if it is playing somewhere else). And their catalog is as big as Spotify's. In other words, there is no reason to put up with crappy customer service and blatant lies from Spotify anymore. Cancel your premium subscription and let them know that lying to customers and ignoring our requests is not a good way to do business.

Personally, my concern is if I should invest time and money in something that's not really that appealing.
Due to using glasses everything I look at looks a lot smaller to me than to the averge person.
On top of that, I can't bring things close to have a better look, as I'm so very, very old now.
So, yes, using an iPad is a big-ish deal for me.
It's not the end of the world, no. I'm looking mostly to avoid the apps anyay, and use various open source alternatives.
However, if people don't state their opinion, how is Spotify to know?
Given that the average internet user is abandoning PC/Mac, and going with tablets instead, this should be a big deal for Spotify!
The usage of ipad is low because it sucks. I have tried to use the iphone app on my ipad, but can't get it to load.

I have been trying for a week to cancel my subscription and they keep saying it is on the account page but it is not there. There is not a button or link to cancel your subscription. They hope we just get tired and give up so that they can keep charging 12.99.
Any help on finding this mysterious cancel button would be greatly apprciated!!

You might have subscribed to premium through the iPhone or iPad app.
To cancel your subscription, you need to cancel it from iTunes. Your subscription is being handled by Apple.

Yeah, I just cancelled my premium not because of any connectivity issues. But why pay for a site that becomes less relevant each time you go to it; loss of content. Playlists that had 30 songs now have 5 or are empty. To Spotify, when you start paying artists and resolve you rights issues, let me know I might be back.

I am having a ton of problems with Spotify and am not able to login on the Mac desktop app at all, and on the web I can log in but cannot access any music. This is unbelievably frustrating, especially since I have just paid Spotify for a one year subscription. So please get back to me asap, as I'm now seriously considering demanding a full refund.
