My Question or Issue
I cannot share a playlist on Instagram stories (nor Facebook stories but I don't care) and have the latest updates on both Spotify and Instagram.
However I can share single songs.
This problem has not been solved for longer.
Hey there @imalexmoll,
Thanks for reaching out to us about this - we'll be glad to help you out here.
Most common issues can be fixed with a quick reinstall of the app. In some situations however, a clean (more thorough) reinstall of the app might be needed. This way, you can start afresh with any app on your device. Make sure you perform the clean reinstall for both the Spotify and Instagram apps.
Check out this help page in order to find the steps for clean reinstall on the affected device. If that doesn’t do the trick, just let us know and we’ll provide you with further help.
Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
Dear Ivan,
Thank you for your answer.
I have just followed all the steps you listed to do a clean reinstall but I am still not able to share my playlist on Instagram stories.
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Best,
A.M.
Hey @imalexmoll,
Thanks for keeping us in the loop.
Do you have the possibility to log in to your Spotify account on another device? Just check if you'll observe the same.
If this doesn't occur on a different device, we'd suggest making sure that your original device is up to speed with any software updates available.
Hope this helps. Keep us posted.
Hi,
I do not have the other possibility for a longer time now due to quarantine.
However, I have the last updates on both my device and Spotify.
Regards,
A.M.
