I no longer receive notifications when someone sends me music

Hi, when a friend sends me music, I no longer see any notifications (not on the desktop, not on the iphone, not on the ipad). I always have the latest Spotify and IOS versions. The shared music is there, if I go manually to the bell icon I can see it there, but there is NO notification.

Even worse, in your preferences, you can set up push notifications for all kinds of stupid things, but not for messages. 

Frankly, every single Spotify update over the last year has made it worse and worse for me. I'm still a premium user, but I don't know if I will remain much longer. I'm beginning to evaluate other platforms that show more respect for their users.
