My Question or Issue
I found out that some of my friend's newer devices or app versions have no 3 options of Vol. Normalization (Loud, Normal, Quiet) anymore. So i want to know why was it withdrawn? Or any possibility to bring it back? If not, I still surely stay put at this version and forced to stuck on this out of date iPhone 6 until it needs changes. And then decide later should i continue to subscribe your service.
Hi there @Guiterman_th,
Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!
The option to normalize Volume on Mobile should be available to all users on the Premium plan.
If your friends are not seeing this option they should reach out here or to our support team so we can figure out why this is happening.
Hope this info helps.
Cheers.
Thanks for reply. But I don't know if you get that we both have the Normalization toggling buttons but what different is the newer version has no 3 drop-down volume options like my current version as this pic shows the screen capture on top is mine and the bottom is from my friends phone. That's what I'm wondering.
Hey @Guiterman_th,
Thanks for getting back to us and for the screenshots.
The reason for this difference is that we're constantly running tests in order to provide you with the best music experience possible. So it's possible that you might see something on the app your friend doesn’t, or get a brand-new feature for only a temporary period. Click here to learn more about Spotify tests.
We recommend keeping your app up to date, as software improvements and hotfixes come with every update. That way you can make use of them as soon as they are available.
Hope this shines a bit of light on the matter. We'll be here if you have any other questions.
So are you about to confirm that 3 drop-down Vol. Normalize options are still officially active? I'm surely always want the up-to-date version but I'd rather stay put if ther are no "Quiet" Vol. Normalize (which i preferred its dynamics most) to choose in the future versions. All I want to know is to make sure that these options still gonna be exist, or why not?
Let me make the question clearer. Do the 3 choices Vol. Normalization (Loud, Normal, Quiet) still officially active on the app's current versions of both iOS, Android? If it was, then i would find out why it didn't show up on my friends' newer phones and app's versions. Or if it wasn't, please tell me why did you pull-off those such a useful dynamics variation options?
Need clearer questions?
