Impossible to add tracks to a playlist or queue found via search

Solved!

Impossible to add tracks to a playlist or queue found via search

I often search directly on a song title and with the new iPad I get them all nicely displayed, thats good. However, when I want to queue one of the songs I have to actually play it before I can add in the lower left corner. When searching for an artist and choosing an album I get all the songs listed and then it's easy to add it to a playlist by holding the finger down on the desired track. Are anyone else bugged witht this as well, i mean that's got to be a mistake?

Not a mistake. We just didn't have time to add the context menu to tracks in the search view in this first release. It's on the to-do list.

must be a mistake, im having the same problem

I hope it's a mistake or bug or something, because it's absolutely ridiculous that you have to play a song in order to add it to a playlist. Not to mention all the other issues I have with trying to manage the now playing queue, which as I see it is non-existent.

I hope it's high on the list as its really good fun just adding tracks when they spring to mind , instant party!

On my computer, my work around to the playlist part has been to add in two steps. I found that I can add the tracks to a new playlist. So, I'll do that, then go to that new playlist, select all and add those to the playlist I wanted to add it to originally then delete the "new playlist".

Not sure if it'll work on the IPAD as I don't have one.
