Iphone Facebook logout

I'm using the Spotify app on my Iphone 5c and created an account by logging in on my Facebook account. For some reason I've been logged out and am not able to log in anymore. I have tried to login with my facebook account, I've tried to login with my username and password, I've deleted the app and then downloaded the app again... Nothing seems to work. If I try to create a new account with my emailaddress it says that there's an account on the emailaddress already. Does anyone know how I can go back to using my Spotify account again?

For you to create a new account, you need to use different email address from the one you use for facebook (past or present). It's advisable, since that will give you a Spotify username of your choice, so you won't have to rely on facebook anymore.

There is apparently no solution to this. I have to go back to Pandora - that sucks.
