Iphone won't play any songs, repeatedly skips every second

I have an Iphone SE running IOS 9 with free Spotify version 7.6.0 

When I try to play any songs, whether they are from a playlist or my music library, they will not load or play. After a few seconds of silence, Spotify tries to play a new song, failing again. After two times, Spotify repeatedly skips through new songs, roughly one per second, and does not play any of them. The repeated skipping does not end, leaving it impossible to listen to any sort of music on my phone. 

This problem does not occur on my computer. 

To try to fix it, I have left the app and reopened it (both with wifi and without), deleted the app off my phone and redownloaded it, and tried to start listening to music from my computer and transfer it to my phone. None of these options worked.

Help!!!
