Jam ends itself when starting a song

My Question or Issue

I will start a jam, send the link, friend clicks the link and joins, I push play on a song and the jam ends. It does the same if they initiated the jam and such. We are both up to date on the apps. We have Duo, but a lot of the time we want to do remote. Why is it failing?? I don't get it.

We really appreciate all the details you kindly sent us, so we'd like to gather some additional info about the behavior you noticed. Would you mind sending us the exact Spotify version you and your friend are running?

On another note, would you mind trying using a different mobile device to see if you can replicate this behavior? If possible, you can ask for the mobile device of a relative or a friend to open your account there and check if you can replicate this. Just to confirm, does this happen if your friend starts the jam?

Lastly, if possible, you can also send us video recordings of what's happening on your side. You can attach the videos (one from your side and another one from your friend) in your next reply in mp4 format, or you can also upload them to YouTube or Google Drive and make them public, so we can visualize them.
