LOCAL FILES DO NOT PLAY ON MOBILE IPHONE 6

I used to listen to them when i drive wether online or not but all my local files do not play they just show " -:-- " where it should show the time elapsed and the legth of the song. What should I do? I can listen to them on my laptop or my itunes but I do not want to have to switch back and fourth when im diriving!

I am having the same issue but i have a 6 Plus. all my local files will not play. It work on the computer  Itunes and ipad just since syncing it will not work -:-- is all i get

I'm finding I have the same problem too - just got the 6+ and I've been trying to download my local files for a few days now.  It's frustrating.

Okay! So after looking at a few more threads I found what worked for me!

Delete the Spotify app on your phone and closeout Spotify on your tablet/computer/laptop.

Reinstall the Spotify app on your phone and open Spotify on your other device.

Then on your laptop or computer, go to the lefthand side of Spotify, under devices and select your device.

Then check the boxes of the playlists/music you would like to sync.
