Limited space 5GB ipone--Can Family work for me?

I have a 5GB iphone and my daughter and i have been sharing a spotify account.  I only have a modest "mom" playlist of about 20 workout songs but she has albums (she has a bigger phone too).  Where we share one account, I see all her music on my app too so I assume it is taking up alot of my precious space.  Under usage it says spotify is taking 263MB on my phone.  Is that right?

If we switch to a family plan will I be able to delete my app, go back into spotify and just download only my songs to my phone?  I'm thinking it will save me space.
