Local Files Playlist Will not Sync to Phone

Local Files Playlist Will not Sync to Phone

I have a premium plan and an IPhone 11. I can not get my local file playlists on my computer to sync to my phone. I have uninstalled the app on my phone and reinstalled. I also have check the download icons on the computer and the phone.

 

I know there are other threads about this but I want to start one specific to my issue and phone since trying to read 50 pages is just crazy.

 

Anyone have another fix to suggest other then uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my phone?

Thanks for posting - we’re here to help!        
 

Make sure you run a clean reinstall of Spotify on both your PC and iPhone. This step is more thorough compared to a simple reinstall and it'll remove corrupted data from previous installations that could be causing the issue. 

 

It's also a good idea to check the hosts file on your PC for entries that need to be removed. Follow the steps described here on how you can do that.

It's a good idea to give these steps a go. If that doesn't help, you can try moving the songs to a different folder on your PC and then adding it as a new local files source.
