Local Files not showing track info

Solved!

Local Files not showing track info

Hey guys,

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue, but since the recent update (love the new design btw) it seems that when I play my local files that I've synced from my mac when they are played on my iPhone they dont show up in on the lock screen with the track ID they just show the information from the last played Spotify song, ie one that hasn't been synced.

This also happens when I'm in the car, the track ID doesn't get sent to the car radio so it's always showing a song that isn't actually playing unless its a spotify song. Really frustrating as this didn't happen in the last version, and it makes shuffling through a playlist difficult as it doesn't tell you whats playing until you realise it's not that song.

Any help would be great!

Kind regards,

Will

There is currently a bug with local files where it won't display album art inside the app, as well as not displaying info on the lock screen.

The developers are already aware of these bugs. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next udpate.

Yep, I've got the same issue as well. It's a known bug with v1.0 and v1.1 of the apps.
