Local files from desktop display incorrect song duration on mobile while correct on desktop

Local files from desktop display incorrect song duration on mobile while correct on desktop

i have an audiobook and on my desktop, the duration is 66 minutes for a track, and on mobile it only shows 33 minutes, so i couldn't fast foward past 33 minutes of the audio, if i needed to go anywhere from 34-66 minutes.

Any idea how to fix this?

EDIT: Just tested something,

the song duration that is displayed on my phone when im listening to it on my PHONE is 33 minutes something seconds

the song duration that is displayed on my phone when im streaming to it on my PC (with phone as wifi remote) is the correct 64 minutes something seconds.

the song duration displayed on my pc at any time is the correct time.

I have a similiar issue, but on desktop player (win 7), a track that should last 7min xx seconds is read by spotify as "0:09s" and result in not scrobbling.... yet another bug with spotify and it's poor handling of local files... I'm running tired of all the issues, albums that won't work despite working perfectly on winamp, wrong durations, playlist that glitch when using local files (asking you to import it again cause for some reason it is linked to an album that is on spotify but not available in my country) darn son, why do I pay 10 bucks a month when spotify is making my life harder...
