Local files not downloading

Local files not downloading

I have a bunch of local files downloaded onto my phone (8.2.0 on an iPhone 6s), and a handful of them won't download. They appear as unplayable files, but I'm able to play them on my laptop fine. I tried hard closing the app and reopening it, and each of the files seems to download before going grey again. There's a second between downloading and going grey where I'm able to play the song... Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks for the response, but it still doesn't work well for me. I had most my songs synced fine up until now, but when I tried adding new songs it didn't work again. I tried everything - I deleted and readded the local files data, I deleted and redownloaded the app both on my Mac and my iPhone, and I made sure everything was up to date. Both devices are connected to the same account and wifi. Now, every single one of my local files in playlists appears greyed out on my iPhone. To make things worse, Spotify on my Mac continues to crash randomly, but it doesn't ever prompt me to send a crash report, and when I open it again it's as though nothing happened.

I am having the exact same issue also no idea what to try now
