Local files not showing on iPhone but shows on Windows

Local files not showing on iPhone but shows on Windows

I have a MP3 downloaded in a separate file, all my settings are on such as Local Files on my iPhone and on my Windows laptop. I’ve selected the file with the MP3 downloads and it shows up on the Windows device and download them as well, but when i goto my iPhone and look through the playlist i’ve added with the songs it’s just a blank file/playlist.

 

Ive tried disabling my firewalls and made sure my both devices were on the same wifi. Please message me on my social: Instagram-x.x_dl_ for help

Hey @putridzz,

 

Thanks posting here in the Community! We'll gladly help you out.

 

On your iPhone, could you go to the Spotify app Settings and then to Local Files and then make sure that synch from Desktop is enabled? It's a good idea to also restart your smartphone afterwards so the changes get taken up properly.

 

If afterwards you're still experiencing difficulties, you can delete the playlist on both devices, create a new one and start the process from scratch. You can also try it out with a different internet network like a mobile hotspot. It's possible that your current network has certain restrictions enabled that are causing this behavior.
