My Question or Issue

I have had local files in my playlists before, and there has been no problems with downloading them to my device. Now, all of a sudden, they don't show up in the playlists at all. Not greyed out before downloaded. They simply don't exist. In the desktop version of spotify, I can see them without problem, but the iPhones are unable to pick them up.

I tried creating a playlist with just a few downloaded songs to use as a test playlist. Those songs never showed up.

I've reinstalled the app on one phone

I've reinstalled the desktop version

I've tried downloading and redownloading the playlists

I've tried starting a hotspot and putting my computer on that connection

Nothing works. That playlist never had any songs in it, according to my phones. I'm at a loss at what to do. This has never happened to me before.

Anyone have any idea what to do?

Hi @Nikålär,

I think it would be best to start with this info here, even if you are familiar with this feature. Then if all should work as described there but it still doesn't, this link could help. It describes the scenario with greyed out songs, not your description, but it wouldn't hurt to try. That's all I got for you, hope it helps!

Sadly I've done those steps, but they still aren't showing up :C

Hi @Nikålär,

It could very well be account related if you haven't resolved it with any of the earlier steps. Fastest but maybe not most convenient way to isolate the issue is to check whether this happens with your devices with another account. You could also contact Spotify Customer Support with this page to see if they can help you sort it out. It might be necessary if it really is related to your account.
