I just got a new i phone and when I created the app and went to log on. A message pops up saying I already have an account. I mean thanks for stating the obvious, that's why I clicked "log on" not "create an account", but why won't it let me in. My password and email are both accurate.

After scouring this site unsuccessfully for an answer I emailed a form into customer support and promptly got a reply saying they were certain the answer to my question was in this forum. Why would Spotify even have the option to email them a form if they don't read them. Talk about bad customer service.

Hi,

 

You could try the link below. It gives you the username and  you have to press "send email to set password".

Hey @Nspainter,

 

Try logging into your Spotify profile on your browser here with your email. Your username will be displayed after you login.

 

After that, be sure to use that username, instead of your email address, to login to your account in your iPhone.
