Missing play queue on iOS

Hi,

Does anyone know where the play queue has gone on the latest Spotify update (v7.6.0)?

It always used to be at the top right of the now playing screen but is no longer visible.

Hey @oliwog69

 

Are you using the iPhone app or the iPad app?

 

The iPad app doesn't yet have a play queue, but it still should be there in the iPhone app.

 

Can you try reinstalling the app? (you'll have to setup any settings you previously set in the app)

I have the same issue on all three of my family's devices. Top right corner is missing the button that used to live.

Can you let us know which exact device, operating system, and version of Spotify you're using? Also, does a reinstall help with the steps here?

I'm on an iPhone 6s, Using 10.2.1 and latest version of Spotify 7.7.0.850. I was all of a sudden adding things to my queue and then I could no longer view it. Music was still playing from it, but I couldn't edit it or clear it. Have not tried doing a re-install. Can try next.

Sorry for the delay guys. My play queue mysteriously came back a few days later. I didn't reinstall, but the app may have auto updated. I wish I had more info 😕

Mine is still missing even after deleting and reinstalling the latest software.

I'm still having this problem and I am using the latest version of Spotify (8.4.3.884) on the latest version of iOS (10.3.2) on an iPhone7. It's been more than four months since this bug has been posted and reported. HOW is this still a problem?!?! I'm hoping that I am just missing something and this is a mistake on my part but it was there earlier today and now it's just gone. I've tried force quitting the app, reinstalling it, and restarting my phone all to no avail.

Also seeing this issue on 8.4.11. Very frustrating and clearly other people are seeing the same thing.

Same problem here. iPhone 6s 10.3.3, Spotify 8.4.13

Yeah this issue is annoying it will randomly pop back up and then disappear. Still better than Apple Music that shot makes no sense.

  • I have an iPhone 5 and am facing the same problem. The tab to access que is gone. It wouldn't be an issue except that the que is still there. I can still send stuff to it. As such I've had moments where I try to play radio or what have you, and it plays one song then moves into the que. I can't delete the que, as I can't access it, so I have to click through every song. I re-downloaded the app, and nothing changed. Please fix!

Same here. Just make it work. 

 

I’m on iPhone 6. 

It won’t appear if you’ve started listening from either daily mix or radio, not sure why but just is. Begin playing from an artist or album page and it should reappear. 

Didn't work for me. I started from an artist. No queue. Been like this for a while. I'm a paid subscriber. This is really starting to **bleep** me off. It shouldn't matter where you start from anyway. There will always be a queue
