Music keeps playing after app closes

My Question or Issue

I got an invite toa family plan - listened all yesteday - worked great - now I can't get music to stop playing - even after I close the app. I deleted and reinstalled and still having the problem.

Hi,

What specific version of iOS and Spotify are you running?

Did you try to play from another source, let's say play one of your videos from Photos or a video from YT?

Did you try to restart the phone as well?

I have an iPhone 8+ with iOS 11.4.  I don't know what spotify version I have but I downloaded it for the first time yesterday so it is most likely the latest version.
