My Question or Issue
Hey,
So I used to use Musixmatch to get lyrics for my songs.
Now, when I open Musixmatch it’s not connected to to Spotify and when I open the settings the Spotify is not listed in the streaming services and when I try to play a song and connect to Spotify it opens Spotify and crash it.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall both of the apps and it’s still the same.
Hey there @Morbyosef!
Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out.
Can you start off by logging in on your Account page and going to ''Apps'' in the menu on the left side?
There you can "Remove Access" for Musixmatch to clear any old links.
After that you could try reinstalling Musixmatch and giving it the necessary permissions and connecting your Spotify account again.
Keep u posted on how it goes. We'll be here if you have any further questions.
Hello and thank you for the reply.
I followed your steps and it seems that Spotify still not listed in the Musixmatch streaming services.
what should I try next?
thanks.

My Question or Issue
When I tap Connect to connect to Spotify on Musixmatch, it gets stuck on loading and it won't show the sign in screen. I restarted my phone, deleted the cache, and none of these work.
I've got exactly the same problem & eternal loading screen when trying to connect to Spotify.
Any help?
Hey @Leipesheit,
Thanks for posting here and welcome.
Just to confirm, have you tried some of the suggestions @Elena posted here? If you haven't, give them a try to see if you notice any difference in this behavior.
Remember, you can try:

My Question or Issue
I've tried connecting my Spotify account to my Musixmatch account multiple times with multiple accounts and even on different devices while always getting the same result. Musixmatch gets stuck in a loop of trying to connect to Spotify. I've attached a screenshot of said occurance. I have even tried un- and reinstalling the app without results.
Does anyone have a solution that might fix this problem since I really like using Musixmatch and even add songtexts on my own. I'd be very thankfull.
Update: when I sent this. I Hadn't seen this post yet, even though I searched for it. On the two devices I used to connect Musixmatch with Spotify, it still didn't work after following the steps, but the I tried logging in on an apple device instead of android witch fortunately worked. Spotify is now also connected on my android device.
Hope that someone with a similar problem will find this helpful.
Also thanks to the moderators who sent some problem solving tipps.

Try to open Spotify settings -> playback -> turn on "device broadcast status". At least the floating lyrics which I need the most worked for me
