My IPhone 5S won't launch Spotify app after IOs 8.0.2 update

Hello there!

 

I am not sure why I updated my IPhone to the 8.0.2 version so soon, usually I don't. In any case, since I did it my IPhone will not launch Spotify whatsoever. I tried deleting the app, installing it back, updates the latest spotify version, rebuting the iphone, even restoring the whole iphone to factory settings and still nothing.

What happens is wierd, it brings up the black background with the spotify logo but those 3 small white circles below the logo never show up and after a while it goes back to the iphone screen as if the app had quited.

 

I am know there is nothing wrong with my account once it works just fine on my computer and IPad!

 

Can someone please help me?!

I'm a primum user.

I have same issue for long 2 weeks, and nothing so far. I think is better cancel the service and make a new sign up in deezer... And deezer works fine in IOS 8.

Unfortunately we receive lots of reports about Spotify that won't launch or crashes with iOS 8. The Spotify development team is already looking into this, so it probably will be fixed soon!

I have ( all IOS 8 USERS ) this problem a 2 weeks.
We pay for a poor service. I repeat, 2 WEEK's.
This is a shame for the spotify team.

You don't have to Blame Spotify. Spotify didn't change anything. You may blame Apple with their changes in iOS 8.

But spotify should be able too keep up with technology as tech hardly stays still, they are a big company.

All developer in SPOTIFY TEAM, have knowledge / access about IOS BETA PROGRAM.
So, i think them is able "predict" this problem.

I repeat, NO HAVE excuses for 2 WEEK for this problem.
If you are the spotify team, i have an word for you.
SOLVE THIS IS PROBLEM

This is so strange, the app worked normally on my iPhone 4S with iOS 8.0.2. What devices are each of you using?

Iphone 4S / 5S.
i'm have same problem in both. After change music crash app

These crashing problems are being looked into.

Hi!

I got an email from spotity with these instructions:
Please go into setting-General-Language&Region. Change the country to United Kingdom, back out of settings fire up Spotify to confirm that the app is working, and then go back into settings and change the country back to where it should be.

It did work after that and right now its back to being perfect!

I don't have these problems anymore since I got my iPhone 6 plus.
