My phone won't show songs I transferred from iTunes

My phone won't show songs I transferred from iTunes

My phone won't show songs I've transferred from iTunes on playlists? I have a playlist with gray arrows, but the songs just aren't showing up?

I have the same problem and I find it a bit strange no one has jumped in to tell us how to make that happen!!

Hi @navalinski,

Thanks for getting in touch about this.

Just to confirm, have you tried following these steps?

On another note, check if the files aren't DMR (Digital Rights Management) protected. As you're importing your songs from iTunes, you can check if your tunes are DRM protected tracks here.

We'll stay tuned.

  1. Thanks for your response ! Here’s the problem: I go to MY SETTINGS, then to LOCAL FILES, which is turned on,  and I have the I Tunes icon to the right (on, I presume), and I . So I locate the I Tunes I would like for my playlist and direct them there. HERE’S THE REAL PROBLEM: They do transfer to my Playlist successfully but they only play on my desktop. When I play the same playlist on my I phone Spotify skips the I Tunes additions.  Is there a way to successfully make they play in all formats once they have been added? Also thanks for letting me know about the tunes and DRM protection. Those I have brought over to Spotify have been paid for through ITunes or Nugs.net, an official site for legal purchase. No boots allowed!  Thanks for responding . If you have a solution to a step I am leaving out or if this is the only format they will all play in, please let me know.  On each of the tracks  from ITunes the title and picture box to the left of each song is GRA while all Spotify titles the artist is white. If you have a solution to this remaining obstacle that would be appreciated. Thanks again for responding and have a great weekend!!! mike

Hey @navalinski,

Thanks for your reply.

In this case, we recommend that you play your local files on your desktop computer while connected to WiFi. Afterwards, use the function Connect (bottom right section of the app), select your phone (make sure it's connected to the same network) and keep listening to your tunes.

Let us know if your local files are still being skipped when doing this.

We'll be here standing by.
