New phone saved songs won't download

New phone saved songs won't download

I got a replacement phone due to dropping my last one, iPhone 6s Plus.  I downloaded spotify and my saved songs aren't showing up or downloading.  I went to a song I had saved and it still showed as saved but was not in my songs list.  When I unsaved and resaved it, it showed up and promptly downloaded.  Is there a way I can force my saved songs to show up in my song list so they redownload?  They still show up in the Windows desktop app fine.

First, check the download status. Successfully downloaded tracks (on mobile) and playlists (on desktop) should have the green downloaded icon  next to them.

  • If they don't, or if the arrow is grey, we’d recommend checking the 'Music is not downloading' steps above, and redownloading.
  • If they do, try switching on Offline Mode within the app’s Settings, or switching off your device's internet access. This ensures that the app doesn’t try to connect to any available networks which can affect playback.

If this doesn’t help, try reinstalling the appNote: Any offline playlists will need to be redownloaded after reinstalling.

I know about that green icon, my saved songs aren't even showing up in my saved songs area on mobile...

Maybe you've created a new account. Here are several ways to check for multiple accounts:

  • Try logging in with any other email addresses or usernames you might have used to create an account.
  • Enter any email addresses you use into our password reset form. Don’t worry, doing this alone won’t reset your password.

If there’s an account associated with the email address, a message will tell you that a password reset email has been sent to the address. (You must be logged out of any other accounts first.)

  • Check your email inboxes, including any spam or junk folders, for any Spotify emails. If you have any, that means you have an account associated with that email.
  • Maybe you created an account with Facebook? Try using the LOG IN WITH FACEBOOKbutton. If you are logged in, see if it seems to be a different account than the one you’ve been using.

Note: If you find an account with a Premium subscription you’re not using or no longer want, you can follow these steps to cancel

If by any chance that doesn't work, please let me know.
