My Question or Issue

Spotify app keeps disconnecting after leaving wifi. Whenever I leave my house and wifi becomes out of range Spotify does not connect to 5G or 4G. It keeps showing “connecting” on app but never connects. The only fix is to shut down my phone all together. It only happens on Spotify. Everything else on phone connects to 5G. I’ve delete the app and reinstalled, reset network settings on phone, and cleared cache. Nothing is working. Anyone know a fix to this?

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out.

 

Great troubleshooting so far, what we can suggest next is going to your phone's Settings and under Mobile Data you should be able to find Spotify by scrolling down and the toggle permissions on.

 

If a friend or a family member has a Spotify account, it could also be a good idea to ask them to log in on your device to see if the app behaves the same way - this will help us establish where the issue comes from and how to troubleshoot it best.
