Nothing will load on spotify for Iphone 4

I am using an Iphone 4 for spotify and nothing will load, when I attempt to search a song I get "an error occurred" message, the browse function will not load at all, I tried redownloading the app but in doing so all of my offline playlists have been deleted so there is literally no way for me to listen to music, I am a premium member also if that helps, is anyone else experiancing this? and does anyone know how to fix this?

Which version of iOS do you have on your iPhone 4?

Support for iOS 6 has been discontinued for a while now, so it could be that the app version you have is no longer supported.

Spotify currently supports iOS 7 and iOS 8.
